Kaziranga is 217 Kms, from Guwahati and 96 Kms from Jorhat by road. The nearest airport is Rowriah (Jorhat). Tourist can fly to Jorhat or can go by car and bus to Kaziranga from Guwahai. The nearest rail head is Furkating. -

Kaziranga National Park is situated in the Golaghat and Nagaon districts of Assam in eastern India. Kaziranga was declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO (United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation) in 1985 for its unique natural environment.It covers partly of Golaghat district & partly of Nagaon district.
